A couple died during sex in a car. What happened?

A couple came home late night and could not wait to have sex. They parked in the garage and left the motor running during their liaison. The garage filled up with the exhaust gases quickly and they passed out. They died from carbon monoxide poisoning shortly thereafter and were found by the man's father the next morning.
